Flexible working? Let’s ride

We’re going to take you for a ride – in the Anywhere Working mobile office, that is.

Bob and Trevor were ahead of their time. Note: our mobile office will look a little different!

On Thursday 16 August we’re hitting the streets in the cycle-powered Anywhere Working mobile office, complete with tablet PC running Windows 8, Nokia Lumia phone, free WiFi, a device charger for your smartphone or tablet – and very good coffee.

We’ll be in central London from 9am-5pm so if you’re in the area and fancy going for a spin, send us a tweet!

This is a great opportunity to try out some of the latest flexible working technology, enabling you to work, tweet or blog on the go while enjoying the sights of London. You can also bring your own laptop or mobile device, if you prefer, and take advantage of our WiFi hotspot. If you need to get to a meeting, a remote working location or just need a break from the office, we’re here to help.

Everything you need to know

surely the point of anywhere working is to prevent travelinto the metropolis, if i am going to travel to london I might as well go to an office.

Come to Solihull, its clean, nice and more importantly 100 miles from London

Hi Ed, Thanks for your comment. Many workers in London are able to work flexibly within the city itself – for example, by working at a dedicated flexible working location rather than in an office. We hope the sight of our mobile office will encourage more to think about the possibilities. We’re very keen to hold events in other UK locations as our community grows. Watch this space :) We’d love to come and visit Solihull, it sounds lovely! Thanks again. Janey @ AnywhereWorking
